Itinerary

Machu Picchu Full-Day Tour – The Lost City of the Incas

Your adventure begins very early in the morning with hotel pick-up in Cusco. You will travel by tourist transport to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will board a scenic train heading to Aguas Calientes.
During the train journey, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley, with rivers, mountains, and lush vegetation accompanying you along the way.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, your guide will meet you and escort you to the bus station for a short but impressive ride up to Machu Picchu.
Once at the citadel, you will begin a guided tour of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. You will explore the most important sectors of Machu Picchu, including agricultural terraces, ceremonial centers, temples, and residential areas. Your guide will explain the history, architecture, and theories behind this iconic site.
After the guided tour, you will have some free time to take photos and enjoy the surroundings.
You will then return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (not included) before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, private transport will take you back to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
